Kindness has powered our movement for 150 years and it could power your day out! Head outside for our Wonderful Walk of Kindness to support people left vulnerable by the coronavirus.

Story

On Sunday 2 August, we will be walking 13 miles (that's a half-marathon, or so I'm told) in aid of the British Red Cross.

The route will take us along the Thames, crossing 12 bridges between Battersea Park and Tower Bridge, and finally dropping us off back home in Vauxhall.

The great news is, to show your kindness you don't need to go trekking along the river for hours on end... just make your donation here! All contributions will be very gratefully received.

I've been supporting the British Red Cross for a while because of all the good work they do here in the UK and all over the world. You can find out more here:

Also they have some really great stuff in their giftshop at the moment... it's definitely worth a look:

The British Red Cross plays a vital role in emergency response, and the ongoing, ever-changing situation concerning the COVID-19 pandemic is no exception. In times of crisis, we’re here to help people. We’re local and we’re global and we’ve been doing this for 150 years. Our network of incredible staff and volunteers means we are uniquely placed to reach people in fearful, uncertain times. But it’s the generosity of our supporters that enables our work to happen quickly and efficiently. We rely on your support to keep us going.
