Story
💙 62 Miles for Diabetes UK this October 🧡
This October, I’m taking on 62 miles to raise money for Diabetes UK — a challenge that means a lot to me personally.
I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2011, when I was just 11 years old. Now, at 26, I’ve spent more than half of my life living with diabetes, so I know first-hand that it isn’t always easy. The constant decisions, the highs and lows, the appointments, the worry and everything in between can be a lot to deal with.
That’s why I love raising money for Diabetes UK. I want to help support other people living with diabetes, whether they’ve been diagnosed for years or are just starting their journey.
The work Diabetes UK does to provide support, fund research and campaign for better care is so important to me. I hope that by taking on this challenge, I can play a small part in helping make life with diabetes easier for people in the future. 💙
62 miles might not change diabetes overnight, but every mile and every donation can help make a difference.
If you’re able to donate, whether it’s £5, £10 or £100, I would be incredibly grateful. Every single donation will help me get closer to my fundraising goal and make every mile count. 🧡
Thank you for supporting me, encouraging me and helping me raise money for a cause that is very close to my heart. 💙
62 miles. One very personal challenge. A cause that means so much. 💙🧡
