Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. Markfield is a community centre in Haringey which is promotes rights, independence, choice and inclusion for disabled people and their families. It offers a variety of services to children, young people, adults and families, and strives to offer all a service that is inclusive and accessible. This money will go towards the summer play scheme where for the first time ever, there has been no funding for the brothers and sisters of disabled children. Siblings of disabled children are often overlooked as a vulnerable group but in fact many of them take on a great deal of additional responsibility, knowledge, and care. The money that you give to sponsor us to take on the three peaks will be put towards providing places for some of these siblings so that they too can participate in the beautiful summer play scheme. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Markfield Project gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. So please sponsor us now!
