We provide excellence in hospice care to support local children and young adults

Story

Naomi House children’s hospice is a charity that provides support to children and young people with conditions that mean they are unlikely to live to become adults.

The charity provides care to families living in communities across the seven counties of Berkshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Surrey, West Sussex and Wiltshire.

The children’s charity has two specialist units, Naomi House for children, and jacksplace for young people. Each unit is purpose built and provides an appropriate environment for each age group.

It costs around £4.5million a year to run the two units. The charity receives around 7% of its funding from the Department of Health. The remaining £4.2million is raised by people and businesses across region.

Many people get involved in fundraising for the children’s charity. Other people volunteer their time to help ensure the hospice is able to continue it’s work.

The support offered by Naomi House children’s hospice is unique in the central south. It delivers a range of services to help to relieve families from the day to day pressures of looking after a child or young person with a life limiting condition.

As you know we all work for Cisco with the Emerging Markets team.  Cisco have agreed to match fund every penny we raise for Naomi House!  If we hit our £2500 target, Cisco will match this £2500 and we will have raised £5000.

We know it is tough financially in the world today and we appreciate every penny that is donated to our team for this event, but it truly does go to a great cause and more importantly your donation will be match funded by Cisco.

Thanks again for your support, we do appreciate this.
