Fundraising for University College Hospital Cancer Fund
Story
On Sunday 28th April I will be running my 3rd Virgin London Marathon and I will be doing this in memory of my late mother Maria Del Carmen, who sadly passed away from cancer on the 17th Feb 2018.
In memory of her and the great work that charities do, I have decided to raise some money for University College Cancer Fund, which is one of the charities that looked after her whilst she was being treated at UCL.
Training for this Marathon has not been easy this time around. I got injured in February for about 4 weeks so it was a bit touch and go wether I would make it to the start line but now that I have been injury free for almost 8 weeks I have decided to run it this year rather than lose my place.
