I chose to do the virtual Edinburgh marathon this year in support of SIMBA and in memory of my daughter Hope, Who I lost this year on the 01/09/2020,  she blessed our earth for one month and 24 days before she gained her wings. I was gifted one of SIMBAS memory boxes from the NICU my daughter was being cared by and I can't tell you how much it and it's contents mean to me and my family, it has brought us great comfort. I want to help in fundraising for SIMBA so that other families like myself are able to continue to recieve these gorgeous boxes and the vital support service that they provide. I intend to walk/run/cycle 26 miles on the 26th of october, my daughters due date. I ask for your help in helping me fundraise for such a great cause 💛🏃‍♀️🦋

SiMBA, responds to the needs of those affected by the loss of a baby. We do this by donating our precious Memory Boxes to maternity and neonatal units so they can be gifted to parents at the time of the loss of their baby. The Memory Boxes are used to capture the most precious memories, time together, for information our website https://www.simbacharity.org.uk The other services SiMBA provide are support groups, online support, events that bring families together to honour their baby; educational study days to support healthcare professionals.
