In honour of my sweetest little nephew Noah who died when he was only 5 years old, I will be running with his mum and the #team NPB to raise money for Noah’s Pink Balloon Leukaemia Fund. 

Noah was diagnosed with leukaemia and while he was having chemo therapy, his immune system got weaker and weaker, and he died of an invasive fungal infection, Mucormycosis.

There is a vital need for more research so that clinicians know how to treat these types of infections in patients.
