The pupils of Essendene Lodge School are fundraising for St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley; a local charity with a big ambition – to make sure nobody faces death and loss alone. 

The children will take part in a run/walk over varying distances appropriate to their age group at Queen's Park on the morning of Tuesday 7th December. Every pupil will be in their festive jumpers and will be provided a pair of reindeer antlers to complete the festive look! 

The distances are as follows:

Reception - Fun Fitness Circuit in the school hall

Years 1&2 - 1Km

Years 3&4 - 2Km

Years 5&6 - 3Km

The children have been practising their long distance running during games lessons so please give generously to this worthy cause! The hospice relies on donations to offer pioneering end of life care and support to people in Sussex and East Surrey. Any donation you can give will mean a lot to us and make a direct difference to families facing terminal illness. St Catherine’s has never needed our support more. Together, let’s make sure the hospice can continue to provide vital care and support.
