My Story:

I have been working at Pestalozzi for over a year. The students are my daily inspiration to do my very best at my job. I am here for them, to support them through this amazing journey away from home. 

As a charity each penny counts... it is not easy, a lot of work it is put into fundraising. However, it does not matter how difficult it is. Just knowing that the Pestalozzi experience will change their lives, opening doors for a brighter future, every little step is worthwhile. 

It is because I believe in our mission that I decided to run--for them and with them. 

It is nerve wracking to set a goal of running a half marathon after having had a back surgery some years ago. Sometimes, I feel my back would not make it... but after knowing that my back can "physically" do it, I realised that the obstacles are in my mind and on how well I stretch to avoid a sore back! 

So here I am... running as much as my breath lets me, getting ready and excited for my first run--the Hastings HILLY Half Marathon on 20th March!
