Event: City Giving Day 2020, on 22 September 2020
We support young people to give them a great start into work

Story

EY Giving Day has been created in association with City Giving Day, an annual event run by the Lord Mayor's Appeal to bring the City of London and beyond together for social good. We have been supporting the day since September 2018 and are proud to use this day to celebrate the corporate sustainability achievements of our people across the whole of the UK. With the effects of C-19 greatly impacting charities both locally & nationally, and the Black Lives Matter movement shining a light on how unfairly our black colleagues and friends are treated, we recognize a responsibility to step up and go Above & Beyond to lend a hand. We have selected several charities to support as part of our EY Giving Day activities and here’s why you might want to donate: 1. Donate to request a song – A 30 second snippet will be played as part of our EY Giving Day Radio Show on Tuesday 22nd September. 2. Donate to receive your Above & Beyond Challenge “Giving Points” – Our 6-week challenge (15Sept-22Oct) will see our service lines battle it out to be forces for social good. They will be fundraising, volunteering, carrying out random acts of kindness and exploring Corporate Sustainability topics in exchange for points. 3. Donate to support someone taking part in the Above & Beyond Challenge – Seen someone do something really cool? Tell them they’re awesome via a donation. 4. Donate because you feel like it! – Not sure what to do for the challenge? Not got a fave song? Just want to donate because you’re a lovely person. Go for it! In addition to this, it wouldn't be City Giving Day if we didn't encourage you to #GoRed. So we hope to virtually see you in your finest red attire! Thanks for your support!!
