The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK.Anyone can hit crisis point. CALM run a free and confidential helpline and webchat 7 hours a day, 7 days a week for anyone who needs to talk about lifes problems.

Our team are all family and friends of Alex Broadley who we tragically lost earlier this year. 

The team of Jimmy Wallis, Danny Gainsford, Jamie Aldridge, Sean Hourigan, Jim Everett, Bobby Farrell, Matt Taylor, Guy Hutchings, Greg Luke, Steve Duffett, Geoff Dyckes, Martin Gamble, Mark Lacey, Marc Croft, Doug Campbell and Russell Booty, will be walking from Brighton and Hove Albion’s American Express Community Stadium in Falmer to Fulham’s Craven Cottage in the lead up to the fixture between the two teams in December. We will also be joined by Dan Broadley and Adam Leonard, who will be completing the distance by walking Bondi Beach to Manly Beach in Australia.

The walk represents Alex’s love of football, and specifically Fulham. But also a tough challenge, which so many young men find life to be.

We want to raise awareness of young male suicide, and raise money for CALM who do an incredible job of helping these young men.
