Faye is a cancer survivor and has just won Northampton's Inspirational Woman Of The Year Award (March 2015) for her continued pushing of boundaries. We both are involved in powerlifting, strongman and obstacle racing competitions and so we will shave our heads in this style for the month of August 2015 as this month contains a large number of competitions for us. An extra part of ordeal is Laura Englefield is going to also wax Ali's entire body into opposing quadrants too! We have now signed up for:

-The Strongman Sanctuary Summer Competition in Kent (Faye is competing on the 1st of August and Ali is competing on the 2nd of August. Events include pulling lorries, lifting logs overhead, carrying heavy yokes, that sort of thing)

-The English GBPF Classic Powerlifting Nationals in Northampton (Both Faye and Ali are competing in this on the 15th of August, powerlifting is attempting to lift the heaviest you can in the squat, bench press and deadlift, classic denotes that it is with minimal assisting equipment) 

-The English GBPF Equipped Powerlifting Nationals in Northampton (Faye is competing in this on the 16th of August, equipped means that the use of assistance clothing is allowed)

-The Kent Hill Rumble Fitness Competition in Milton Keynes (Ali is competing in this same sex pairs contest on 16th of August. Tests involve things like an agility sprint course, bodyweight squats and unusual core strength feats)

-The Iron Run Obstacle Race in Kettering (Faye and Ali are competing in this on 22nd of August. Faye is doing the 6km course and Ali is doing the 12km course)

-The England Strongwoman Championships Final in Tamworth (Faye qualified in this back in March and is competing in this final on 29th of August. Events include deadlifts, lifting overhead and squats all for as many reps as possible)

-Definition Strongman Competition in Peterborough (Ali is competing in this on 30th of August. Events include things like lorry pulling, maximum yoke squat and car deadlifts)

-The Nuts Challenge Obstacle Race in Surrey (Ali is competing in this on the 6th of September. It involves attempting to do four 7km laps of one of the toughest obstacle course in the country!)

-The Western European Powerlifting Championships in Spain (Faye is competing in this international competition on 12th of September representing Great Britain)

So as you can see, we are going to be very busy! Please keep us motivated with donations!

For every £100 or part thereof we raise we will keep the style for an extra day after August into September! So if we raise £450 we will keep the style for 5 days extra, £1050 11 days extra and so on.
