The Company of Glovers is currently fundraising to extend our programme of donating prosthetics to adults and children who have significant upper limb differences -working closely with leading edge companies to improve lives for those in real need.

A case study: Why this is needed:
Susan Neill was a happily married mother of five who went from a healthy woman in her forties to fighting for her life from sepsis. Sue sadly lost all four limbs and is now confined to a wheelchair. It  began in 2017 when she went to the dentist for a routine checkup, the dentist nicked her gum, an abscess then led her to contracting sepsis and fighting for her life. Sepsis has changed her life - taking away everything except her voice. Sue in her own words 'has come a long way since leaving hospital three years ago' , but the smallest of tasks, like drinking out of a straw again has taken her over a year to achieve. The Bionic Hero Arm will give Sue back some of her independence, and of course the chance to hug her children.
