Story
Susan Neill, was a happily married mother of five who went from a healthy woman in her forties to fighting for her life from sepsis. Sue sadly lost all four limbs and is now confined to a wheelchair.
It all began in 2017 when she went to the dentist for a routine checkup and the dentist nicked her gum, creating an abscess that then led her to contracting sepsis and fighting for her very life.
Sepsis has changed her life in every aspect. It has taken away everything it can take except her voice. Sue in her own words 'has come a long way since leaving hospital three years ago', but the smallest of tasks, like drinking out of a straw again has taken her over a year to achieve. The Bionic Hero Arm will give Sue back some of her independence, and of course the chance to hug her children again.
Please do give generously and help us support Sue and the others that we are campaigning for. The Glovers' aim is to donate at least three Hero Arms and/or other prosthetics between now and November - to literally 'Give A Hand'
