Finlay Grimshaw Bracken Ghyll Golf Club Manorlands · 28 June 2023

Campaign by Sue Ryder (RCN 1052076)
The past year has been difficult for many, so were aiming to reach as many people experiencing loss as possible. We want to take away some of the tough things that come with losing a loved one, so that families can focus on the most important - love.

Story

We are a team of club members from Bracken Ghyll Golf Club in Addingham, near Ilkley. We have a good mix of members ranging from 65 years to 20 years old for this event. Two older guys, three younger ones and two lady members will be taking on a 72 hole challenge on Wednesday 28th June. Some of us have done this before, some have not, but we are all looking forward to a challenging day to raise funds for the Sue Ryder 'Manorlands' hospice in Keighley. It will be great fun! Many charities are struggling in todays financial climate, so we want to do our bit for our club captains chosen charity for 2023. All donations will be greatly received and appreciated, no matter how big or small. Everything counts, so we would all like to thank you in advance of your contribution. We are hoping for a team photo but this will not likley happen until the day of the event, as trying to co-ordinate all of us prior to this is not easy. We have just received some team shirts for the day - HOT PINK, so we should really stand out on the course. Watch this space!
