Hello everyone ....its been a while since Conniston and those who know me well know I vowed never to try anything as ambitious ever again. 

Dave said don't say something you can't stick to and he was right.....

So here I am about to tell you and write for the first time in black and white that I am going to (*attempt to) swim the ENGLISH FRICKIN CHANNEL

*attempt to, since more people have summited Everest and we are at the mercy of the weather. 

I am once again raising money for Glasgow Children's hospital as the incredible work they do each and ever day to care for kids and support families is worth its weight in gold, which is where you come in ....as I need you all to dig deep and donate as much of your gold as you can. 

Those of you who know me,  know all too well why I want to give something back to this amazing charity. 

Now a bit more about the challenge 

4 Mermaids - Me, Laura,Jules, Jess 

Relay - 1 hour each in rotation 

21.4 Miles ....if we swim in a straight line 

Jellyfish & sea sickness guaranteed, whales and sharks not welcome!!!!

No wet suits, and a host of other crazy rules to make it a unique experience.
