Story
Emily and I are excited to be taking part in the 20 for 20 challenge for Heartburn Cancer UK. We know that raising awareness means more people questioning persistent heartburn symptoms, getting checked out with their doctor and reaching those who might have oesophageal cancer earlier - 59% of oesophageal cancer cases are preventable with earlier diagnosis. It also means we can continue to support patients and their families. So we want to help raise vital funds while having fun and doing something together that we really hope will help make a difference and might help raise awareness and make people smile at the same time!
20 charities for lesser known cancers have joined HCUK to form the 20 for 20 challenge as cancer doesn't stop for Covid.

They support sufferers and their loved ones and provide information to the general public and the medical profession.Around 8000 people die in the UK every year from oesophageal cancer. That's 22 every day! With the right information 59% of oesophageal cancer cases are preventable compared to 38% of other cancers.
