Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page set up to raise funds for the Victoria Infirmary Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit.

For anyone that doesn't know why I am doing this, my mum was seriously ill last year resulting in major heart surgery on Christmas Eve 2012. After the most stressful time of my life, I am delighted to say that after a 3 month stay in both the Victoria Infirmary & the Golden Jubilee Hospital my mum is now getting her health back and is now amazing us all with her hard work and determination at her twice weekly exercise classes at the Victoria Infirmary Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit. There is simply just too many wonderful staff to thank but as a way of trying to say "thank you" I have signed up for the Comic Relief 5x50 Challenge .....50 days of exercise(minimum of 5k running, cycling, swimming, zumba, etc), no days off, no matter how tired or lazy I feel.

Twenty years ago I raised funds for the Cardiac Unit through 10k/half marathon sponsorship, this time I am neither as young or fit so the challenge personally is so much tougher.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone that helps me with my fundraising cause, Fiona xxx
