We raise funds for The National Hospital to improve the lives of neurology patients

Story

Thank you for taking the time to donate to this amazing charity who desperately need more help with neurological conditions. I'm Mia this is my story

When i was 7years old , my mothers neurological condition hugely impacted on my life . She was diagnosed in 2013 with a brain tumour shortly after they had tested to confirm the brain tumour , my mum was admitted to The national hospital of neurology and neuroscience . I remember we named the Ping Pong ball sized tumour Fredrick!

I visited the hospital the week my mother was there every day , I even took a little cat nap in her bed . My mum read back my school book I had written 'she looked very funny' but she was still my mum , I still remember her funny looking face to this day ! The hospital nurses and doctors were lovely caring  always trying to do their best to look after everyone .She even like the food!

My mum will always need care for the rest of her life and the money we are trying to raise will provide  more bed spaces for people like my mum.  On the 23rd of September my nan age 71 is flying a spitfire for this charity which is all very close to our hearts.Although she has   raisied lots for charity she has never been more passionate and daring about flying the spitfire round Biggin Hill!

The funds raised will help to expand the Molly Lane Fox Unit and provide more bed spaces and facilities for the growing number of people currently affected by neurological conditions. Thank you for reading my story!
