We help terminally ill and bereaved people to write and record original songs for free

Story

Francis and Michael are departing on a 10k walk (5k for Michael) at midnight on 31st August to raise money for Swan Song - a fantastic charity that helps people who have a terminal illness to record their own song, and those who are bereaved to record a song in memory of their loved one.

We wrote our own verse about Grandma Carolyn to go with Mummy and Grandad Dave and Uncle James's verses and Uncle James played guitar. The song is here: https://swansongproject.co.uk/sing-about-carolyn/

Francis came up with the ambitious fundraising target of £10 but it would be really great to raise more than that 🙂 You are also welcome to join us if you would like.

Our night walk plan so far is:

Make sure Francis's glow in the dark t-shirt isn't in the wash and put it in the daylight to charge up

Get new bulbs for our torches because we tried changing the batteries and it wasn't the batteries.

Set off at midnight.

Wear our new environmentally friendly reusable glow sticks - https://www.lumi.gives/shop

Go to sleep early to get ready.
