Campaign by Oxfam GB (RCN 202918)
100km. Teams of 4. 30 Hours. 500 teams will trek across the South Downs Way in September 2019, raising money for Oxfam and The Gurkha Welfare Trust.

Story

In just over 3 weeks a team of highly inexperienced adventures will take to the Surrey Downs.

In less than 30 hours (read 24 hours) we have to navigate (yep navigate) the route from Queen Elizabeth Country Park (near Petersfield) to Brighton race track.

In total that's 100kms plus some extra for getting lost. We are however doing it to reduce poverty in the world. The event is organised by Oxfam and supported by the outstanding Queen’s Gurkha Signals.

For more information have a look at the site - it ain't easy people! https://oxfamapps.org/trailwalker/index.php

So as we contemplate the challenge and finish our training we ask that you support us with a donation. Anything at all will help.

Wish us luck.

Mark, Will, Ed and Adam (Freshfields blister brigade)

Also massive thanks to Lisa who agreed to ride support vehicle on this!
