Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Active Care Group is supporting Back Up Trust, by
participating in their #Nolimits cycle ride on 5th September, to coincide with
Spinal Cord Injury Day.

Back Up Trust provide practical training on wheelchair
skills and getting around the community, as well as emotional support and
mentoring, community forums and activity courses, such as skiing trips.  The challenge is for people to complete a
remote/actual cycle ride of 50km or100km, either individually or collectively
as a group relay, all contributing to the same challenge. The Residential Team
are aiming to raise £500 by cycling at least 125km’s.

The Residential Team includes Sharon Chrystal, Gareth
Thorndale, Sarah Yusoof, Gemma Wilkinson, Suzanne Champion, Karen Lorimer, Kate
Hardcastle, and Sheila Skinner along with 4 young individuals.
