During these difficult times I decided to pick my camera back up and bring our community back together with this fun, light hearted and safe idea - and all for a good cause. 

I will be taking "doorstep portraits" from your garden gate, or even over the fence if need be! Whether this be of yourself, you and your family, your children.. or your pets! Please join in, its fun!  

The money raised will be allocated to our very own WCD Young Carers, Wrexham. 

This charity is very close to my heart having grown up a young carer myself; with my siblings still a part of this amazing group. 

I have worked on previous projects with the young carers of Wrexham, and together we have raised funds so that the young carers can enjoy a little rest bite and some fun. 

Wrexham Young Carers allows children & teenagers of a variety of ages some time from their home to take a little break. Some of our lovely young carers experience a variety of challenges in their daily lives, that some of us would never imagine. And when times were already tough, please lets take a thought to think about our Young Carers who are helping their families at home and facing bigger, more difficult challenges than ever before. 

I have witnessed first hand since lockdown how devastated my sister was that her usual group weekly activities had been cancelled. But Leanne and Sian are still working with them virtually, creating lots of fun activities and games online to keep them busy and it really does make her day; as im sure it does for the other children too. 

Lets help raise funds for such a brilliant cause. Remember, not all heroes wear capes - and these children are awesome!
