As a team we decided we wanted to do something worthwhile for an amazing cause, and no one is more worthy than the Gaddum Centre.
They provide a specialist counselling service for children and families in Salford, Manchester and Stockport who feel they need some extra support because a child has a life limiting condition, a child has died from such an illness or have been affected by someone close to them passing away.
They have a long history of providing quality services in the field of social and health care. They work together with other service providers in the voluntary, statutory and private sectors, and has partnership arrangements covering a range of services from Advice and Information, Counselling, Advocacy and Carers' Services
Gaddum Centre's work is funded in many ways, including revenue funding, contracts, donations and payment for some services. In most cases services are free to families and individuals.
Now this is where the fun starts!!!
