All of us at Monyhull Church are excited about our plans to develop our church building.  Monyhull Church is situated in the middle of a brand new housing estate in south Birmingham.  Our aim is not just to be a Sunday church, but a church at the heart of the community.

We have planning permission to build an annexe to the existing building which will house a second hall, kitchens, toilets and a number of classrooms.  We also need to do some rennovation work on the existing building.  This work is vital to transform our facilities so that (1) the church has a much more suitable facility to meet in and house the expanding ministries of the church (2) so that we have a facility from which we can better serve the local community in all kinds of spiritual and practical ways.

So far the church is close to raising £700,000 - most of which has been raised from individuals in the church.  We are currently approaching trusts and banks to raise the £500,000 in gifts or loans needed to enable us to build.  Therefore, all of us in the church are spreading the word about the project and hoping that a few of our kind friends might support us in this great endeavour.
