Despite having never run over 13 miles before I have signed up to do my first full marathon of 26.2 miles in just 6 weeks time at the Gloucester Winter Marathon on the 14th January 2018. The children have also been inspired by the brilliant work at Great Ormond Street and have asked to do a race to fundraise for them too. They’ll be taking part in the Olympic Park 5k on February 4th. Both children regularly take part in a local junior park run which is 2km so increasing the distance to 5k is huge for them, especially when they are only 6 and 5!

Great Ormond Street Hospital does such great work both for unwell children as well as supporting their families, so I was keen to take on what for me is a massive challenge to raise some funds to support them.
