Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi I'm Gary and this is my bike Precious, whose 16mths old.

I enjoy cycling and invested in my little beauty to take part in my first sponsored ride last year. 'Night Rider' a 60 mile ride to raise money for Foundation Study of Infant Deaths (FSID) a charity close to my heart because of a close friend's experience.

This year Precious and I wanted another challenge and there it was 'Ride London 100' covering the Olympic route. The challenge is 100miles in less than 9hrs! As i have worked for Epilepsy Society for the last 9yrs and am aware of the support, care & research that is undertaken, it seemed the ideal opportunity to give something back.

I live some distance from work and as part of my training have begun cycling part of the way to work some days which is a 40 mile round trip. Other days I train with other Epilepsy Society team members, the camaraderie is great and we all encourage one another.

Epilepsy Society's vision is a full life for everyone affected by epilepsy. Personally i will be digging deep to complete this ride. Please show your support by sponsoring me for this worthy cause.
