We are the children and families of Yr2 Thornhill Primary - Jupiter and Saturn.

Although most of us are 7 years old - we are Gas Giants.

We are running for the Thornhill Foundation to raise money and awareness to the amazing Friday afternoon enrichment programme at Thornhill school.

Enrichment gives all children the same opportunities to develop a large variety of essential skills beyond the classroom, partnering with organisations, businesses, universities, parents and members of our local community.

Through Enrichment Fridays - Yr2 have been able to learn and experience wide range of activities that broaden, enhance and deepen our understanding of our world. So far, through Enrichment we have been able to

learn Puppetry
learn Weaving
Space Exploration
Team building Lego
visit Crumbles Castle adventure playground, a nature-filled wonderland with hidden swings and secret places to climb and explore the world of their imaginations.

As parents, we have seen first-hand the amazing results of Enrichment Friday in the engagement and development of our children, supported by the tireless army of volunteers that enables this.
