Scottish 10K 2026 · 16 August 2026 ·

We are here for anyone with epilepsy, their families, carers and employers. We campaign for improved healthcare and an end to stigma, influence policies that will affect the health, educational and social welfare of people with epilepsy and provide quality information and support services.

Story

Welcome to my JustGiving fundraising page! I am running the 2026 Scottish 10K for Epilepsy Scotland in order to raise as much money as possible.

My twin brother suffered his first seizure on his 1st birthday and was later diagnosed with Epilepsy. He never moaned and lived his life to the full, constantly battling with the condition.

In the last few months Matthew mentioned he was hoping to write about the condition, hoping to raise more awareness, however he never got the chance to.

Tragically on the 8th of December 2025 aged 30, Matthew had a massive seizure and sadly passed away. My family and I are therefore raising funds for Epilepsy Scotland. They help and support over 80,000 people in Scotland currently living with Epilepsy. Any donations would be gratefully appreciated!
