Story

Dear kind and trusted friend,

We are hoping that you will sponsor us in our attempt to trek across the Sahara desert and climb the highest peak in North Africa in support of the Palestinians suffering under the Israeli blockade of Gaza. The charity we are supporting: Islamic Relief, offers humanitarian aid and development projects that will channel much needed resources to the strangulated population in Gaza. For more info please visit  http://www.islamic-relief.com/SubMenu/Appeal/palestine.htm

A group of UK-based human rights and development organisations (Amnesty International, Care International UK, Cafod, Christian Aid, Medecins du Monde UK, Oxfam, Save the Children UK and Trocaire) have called the current situation in Gaza the worst humanitarian crisis in the strip since Israel occupied it in the 1967 war, and describe it as a man-made disaster resulting from the isolation and blockade of Gaza. Unemployment is nearly 50% and more than 80% of Palestinians in Gaza rely on humanitarian assistance.

To make this happen and to start this journey, we MUST raise £6000 By donating a small sum, you will help assist in this good cause.

Feel free to facebook or email us on:

Thanks for your support.
