Richmond AID, along with other local charities will be walking a marathon to raise funds for people in crisis. We will don our walking boots and take on the 26.2-mile challenge on Saturday, 17 October.
Starting at 8.30am in front of the iconic London Eye, the hike will follow the Thames past landmarks including the Houses of Parliament, Battersea Power Station and Kew Gardens. The marathons final miles will take participants through the Borough of Richmond itself, before finishing early evening at the historic Hampton Court Palace.
All funds raised will go directly into the Richmond AID's services helping disabled people facing financial difficulty, mental health crisis, food poverty and disability.
