We provide specialist nurses to support families affected by dementia

Story

On the 22nd - 24th June, I will be taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for Dementia UK.

Dementia is a disease that will have an impact on everyone's lives, which could be through a family member, friend or even yourself.
Living with dementia can be an incredibly hard and lonely experience for both the person with dementia and their loved ones. Dementia UK
provide compassionate, expert support that families need every step of the way - helping everyone in that family to live more positively with dementia in the present; and to face the challenges of tomorrow with more confidence.

The Three Peaks Challenge is a trek which requires you to climb to the summit of the 3 tallest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales.

My Challenge will start in Scotland where I will climb Ben Nevis early on the Saturday morning. After completing Ben Nevis, I will be travelling to the Lake District to scale Scafell Pike. This will leave the final leg where I will travel to Snowdonia to climb Snowdon where I am hoping a nice cold beer will be waiting for me.
