This year I will be running the London Marathon to support Sophie's Journey, a family run charity based in Lincoln. 

Sophie's Journey is an amazing charity that was set up in memory of Sophie by her parents after she sadly passed away in January 2016, aged just 12, after a two-year battle with medulloblastoma – an aggressive tumour in her brain.

The charity provides free holidays at the Golden Sands resort in Mablethorpe in 2 caravans that are owned and looked after by the charity for the family's of children undergoing cancer treatment.

We have been lucky to benefit from the support of the charity since Max was diagnosed and have stayed at the resort numerous times. The pandemic has done so much damage to local charity's nationwide, I would love to be able to raise some much needed funds to support the charity and help it continue to support children suffering from cancer.
