Story
Welcome to the Most Personal Fundraiser You'll Ever Read (Yes, it Involves Toilets)
If you know me well enough, chances are you've heard me wax poetic (or slightly traumatically) about the wild rollercoaster that is my relationship with toilets – thanks to being diagnosed with UC. Spoiler alert: it’s not glamorous, but it is character-building.
Now, after receiving care and support from our NHS heroes and Crohn’s & Colitis UK, I’ve decided it’s time to give back. And what better way than by joining the post-Covid London tradition of... becoming mildly obsessed with running?
So here’s the plan: this June, I’ll be running 5K every single day. That’s 30 consecutive days, 150 kilometres, I’m running not just for fitness, but for awareness, fundraising, and maybe just a tiny bit to prove that even with a dodgy gut, I can still sprint to the loo quicker than you.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help support those living with Crohn’s and Colitis – and will absolutely fuel my stubbornness to keep going.
Let’s run. Let’s raise. Let’s... avoid spicy food.
Thank you for your support!
