My best friend Lucy tragically died in 2012. She was the co-founder of The Safe Foundation, an amazing charity that helps marginalised people living in poverty around the world who are unable to get help from anywhere else. It also helps closer to home, changing the lives of disenfranchised young people by giving them amazing volunteering opportunites. 

I would love to raise some money to buy  bricks for the 'Lucy Memorial Hall', a community education centre the Safe Foundation are building for the displaced dalit communtiy in, Mugaiyur, Southern India. It's such a fantastic way to honour Lucy and will mean so much to the "Gypsy Dalit" community - one of the most outcast communities in the world, lacking access to mainstream education and even turned away from healthcare services. 

So naturally my wife and I are running 13.1 miles which is approx. 7 miles too far for me! So please sponsor us if you can, it means the world. Thank you so so much
