Growing up I saw the effects that addiction and alcoholism had on family members friends and the people in my community. As a PA I worked in several areas of medicine including forensics. In all of those areas ice all patients and families devastated by addiction and alcoholism. Especially so in forensics. I've been working at Ashley for seven years now and find my work so rewarding. It is also challenging because not all patients recover. Helping define Ashley's research efforts will help us develop evidence-based approaches to treating individuals with substance use disorders to improve outcomes and save lives.
