Story
On 21 March 2011 little Jessica was born at the Royal United Hospital in Bath 10 weeks early and weighing just 2lb 10 oz. She spent 9 of her first ten weeks in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) where she was given the most amazing care, support and attention by all the wonderful staff, doctors and consultants. 14 months on, well you can see just how perfect she is in every way....petite but with the appetite of a horse!!
On Saturday, 12 May, Mum (Dani) and Grandma (Gill) are participating in a HILLY MARATHON across the South Downs, West Sussex to raise money for NICU. We want to help support the tremendous work that is being done there for all the premature babies. But it doesn’t just stop when the baby leaves the unit. Once at home, the Outreach Team Nurses visit weekly to provide knowledge, expertise and reassurance for these very little people and their families. In fact they become very much a part of the family!
Please help sponsor what we both feel is a really worthwhile cause. (Scroll down for further photos!)
Thanks for supporting such a worthwhile cause!
