Every year Herriot Hospice offer care and support to those in Hambleton and Richmondshire, at no cost to them or their families. Herriot Hospice Homecare raises over £1 million to provide our specialist services every year! Herriot Hospice receives little funding from the government which means we rely heavily on the communities we serve to help us raise the remainder. Your sponsorship helps spread a big bright burst of happiness.

Towards the end of her life Mum needed extra nursing care. Rather than send her into hospital it was possible for her to stay in Leyburn with the extra care provided by Herriot Hospice Homecare. This meant that she could stay with the staff she knew, and we could spend as much time with her as we wanted. She was spared the disruption of hospital admission and could be loved and cared for locally. The staff at Brentwood Lodge were determined that Mum should remain where she was and they, and Herriot Hospice Homecare, made this possible.

I am so grateful that I want to raise at least £100 for this very good cause. It would be great if others could help me to achieve this.
