It's my birthday month and there's nothing that gives me more joy than supporting an organization that I have been involved with for more than 20 years as a volunteer, intern and Board Member.

HIP Housing's mission is to invest in human potential by improving the housing and lives of people in San Mateo County, where the average monthly rent for an apartment in January 2020 was $3,294!

Founded in 1972, HIP Housing provides low-income individuals, seniors, and families with the opportunity to access healthy, stable, and affordable housing.  Our Home Sharing Program, Self Sufficiency Program, and Property Development and Management Division work collectively to level the playing field for our clients, creating a roadmap to economic equality by providing practical, affordable housing solutions.
