Story
Millie, my 14-year-old, niece and I are supporting Blythe House Hospice on their Glow Twilight 10K walk on 15th May. Our chosen route will be one around the picturesque Goyt Valley, just a stone’s throw from Blythe House itself. Head torches at the ready!
We are walking in memory on my Mum, who died of bowel cancer on Christmas Eve in 2004. Millie never knew what a wonderful Grandmother she would have had.
Statistically, 1 in 2 of us will be affected by cancer, those who are regrettably terminal deserve the best of care and Blythe House gives just that.
About Blythe House - in association
with Helen’s Trust (nothing to do with me! just incidental) offers free
holistic care and support for anyone in the High Peak, Hope Valley, Derbyshire Dales and North East Derbyshire, who is affected by life limiting illness.
Please support palliative care provision which is in such short and disjointed supply here in the UK, simply visit our Just Giving Team page at: -

If you supported on our last fund raising for the Hospice 2 years ago, a heart-felt thank you.
Thank you for your generous donations to the Walking event.
