Story

In December 2020, Paula was diagnosed with cancer, at a young age of 31. In August 2021, she was given the devastating news that the cancer had spread. She spent a few weeks in hospital before being moved to St Cuthbert’s Hospice, where she spent her final weeks. The staff there were amazing, they looked after her so well, supported her and motivated her to keep going. On 26th September 2021, Paula was finally free from pain as she gained her angel wings.

For those fortunate enough to meet Paula, you’ll all agree that she was the kindest and most loving person in the world. She was a devoted wife, a loving daughter, an inspirational auntie, a caring sister and an amazing friend.

Paula loved to help others, so that’s why we’re taking on this challenge and raising money in her memory, to help the hospice give the same care and support as Paula received, to many more families.

Please show us some support, and leave us a donation.
