Formula Student is a worldwide competition in which teams of University students design, manufacture and develop their own racing car. Our team, consisting of 30 members, is building an entirely electric car with the hope of racing at Silverstone against up to 120 competitors in the summer of 2016. 

The goal is to be the first UK team to race their own electric car. As you can imagine the process can be expensive and the team is looking for anyone interested in aiding us reaching our goal, donations of all sizes make the world of difference when working on a project such as this. 

My role in the team is Team Principal, It is my responsibility to ensure that every aspect of the team is going to plan – allowing us to meet targets without any issues. I have to ensure that the car comes together without any snags and integrates correctly. I am looking forward to seeing all of our hard work come to fruition as the car is manufactured – I look forward to watching a brilliant race car materialise in front of us. I am most inspired by the challenge and over-coming problems – every time we have a meeting we get past another issue and I love the feeling of achievement that comes with it.
