Story
James has been at our school since pre school and we have supported him through both his heart and his kidney transplant. We've witnessed his bravery first hand and are amazed every day by how well he bounces back from anything life throws at him.
Recently he has gone back into hospital and we're missing seeing him at school so we have decided to make the journey from school to Southampton Children's Hospital by foot on Saturday 16th June. The total distance is 14.5 miles and we will be completing this in stages with different staff members and volunteers walking different parts of the journey.
We hope James doesn't mind seeing his teachers looking a bit hot and sweaty when we visit him on his ward!
We have been in contact with James' Mum Kate and she suggested raising money for the renal unit where James is being cared for. We would like to do this in recognition of all the hard work and dedication that they are putting into making James better.
