Story
The Charity
Every day, around 600 children and young people from across the UK arrive at GOSH. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs. And every day is a chance for you to make a difference.
This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support and everyone in Team GOSH taking on the 2023 London Landmarks Half Marathon will be helping to give seriously ill children the chance of a better future.

Henry
Henry Glover was diagnosed with Severe Aortic Stenosis at 2 days old. At 6 days old, Henry went through open heart surgery. The team at Great Ormond Street Hospital were exceptional. Every single member of staff was superb. Now, Henry is able to lead a normal life and continues to thrive. He will need follow-up surgery when he is older, but thanks to the team at GOSH, this won't be until he is a teenager.
His Dad (Rob), Grandad (Paul), Uncle (Bryn), and Great Aunt (Amanda), are running a half-marathon to raise money for GOSH as a way of saying thank you and to ensure they can continue to do their amazing work.
