Story
My little boy, Henry, was diagnosed with Severe Aortic Stenosis at 2 days old. On day 6 of his life, he underwent open heart surgery. The team at GOSH were exceptional. The care that Henry received was incredible. Every single member of staff we met was so dedicated to his recovery. Not only that but they were brilliant in supporting my wife and I through the toughest thing we have ever faced. I am forever grateful to GOSH and hope by doing this I am giving something back and ensuring they can continue their amazing work.
Every day, around 600 children and young people from across the UK arrive at GOSH. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs. And every day is a chance for you to make a difference. This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support and everyone in Team GOSH taking on the 2023 London Landmarks Half Marathon will be helping to give seriously ill children the chance of a better future. For more information about the work GOSH does and to find out where Team GOSH's fundraising will go visit the website: https://www.gosh.org/what-we-do
