Story

Hi my name is Grace Crampton. I am a 28 year old woman with roughly 10 inches worth of brown hair. Currently I have the tips coloured in 'blonde ombre' and often like to experiment with colours as well as try various different styles. I'd say my favourite style is French plaits but I am partial to rocking the beach waves look on special occasions.

So why am I giving you all this information about my hair? To prove a point. I am privileged to have this hair. I and many women and men are privileged too. Many children share that honor as well ...but what about those that don't?

What would it be like to not be able to have your sister plait your hair? What about that little boy who can't have David Beckham's latest look? What about that girl who feels like she needs to wear a wig for her prom?

So this I am asking for your help. This is a chance for me to fundraise and help my chosen charity 'Little Princess Trust' . My target is £1100. This money will provide two real hair wigs free of charge (£550 each) to children and young people up to the age of 24 that have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses.

As well as raising the £1100, I will be donating a glorious 10 inches of my own hair to a young person in the hope it will give them as much pleasure as it does me.

So get me bald by getting to the target. Once we've hit the £1100 I hope to have my friends and family around me as I become acquainted to the razors. This will be documented for your enjoyment.

Thank you for your support 💜
