After a break from running for various reasons we are back pounding the pavement with goofy grinned enthusiasm.

With a combined age of 90 (but who's counting?) this year is definitely our year to get it done!

Running is what brought us together and it will be our love of running that will help us raise funds for a very worthy local charity.

We've chosen to fundraise for the Tiny Lives Trust alongside Graham's colleagues as one of their chosen charities. Through their workplace charity fundraising efforts they strive to help make a positive impact on the local community.

The Tiny Lives Trust helps to care for premature and sick newborn babies, their mothers and families, in the Special Care Baby Unit of the Newcastle Neonatal Service based in Ward 35 of the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.

Every penny truly counts and we thank you very much for any donation you are able to make!

We're looking forward to seeing all the cheering happy faces along this amazing half marathon route based in the Northeast of England and crossing our fingers for good running weather on the day.  Our main goal is to successfully finish it together, smiling!
