Story
Quinn Nita was born with a brain injury and needs stem cell therapy and alternative treatments for a fuller, happier life. She is an extremely determined little girl with inspirational parents. She has defied all odds so far and has achieved things that doctors were convinced she would never be able to. Quinn’s goal for her recent Stem Cell therapy was £50,000, which amazingly was achieved and she was able to go to the USA and has had millions of stem cells put into her body and is already making incredible progress. Quinn’s parents, Leanne & Scott are always trying to raise money for alternative therapies for Quinn, as every little helps. People have done marathons, bike rides, dance-athons and now we want to get involved and bring Jiu-Jitsu to the table, as every jiu-jitsu practitioner knows this art is deeply passionate about helping people.
The 12 hour grapple-athon will run from 8am-8pm on Saturday 24th August. Anyone who has trained jiu-jitsu before can join in the grapple-athon. You can join in for however long you want. You are more than welcome to stay the duration and take as many breaks as you need. We want to raise as much money as possible for Quinn and believe that we can really make a difference with the money we can raise. Our Goal is £1,000. We believe this is achievable. 100% of all donations go to The Mighty Quinn’s Therapy Fund.
