Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
The Great Glen Walk is 75 miles long between Fort William & Inverness and this is my first attempt at a long distance walk - in fact my first attempt at any walk! I will be accompanied by Fr Sean O'Toole from from London and Bernadette and Brian Scott from Edinburgh who walked the West Highland Way from Glasgow to Fort William last year in aid of Across Jumbulances - so this is really the second part of their walk! At this rate they may very well end up in Orkney!!
Across Jumbulances is the most marvellous organisation which takes very sick and seriously disabled persons to Lourdes by special large vehicles called Jumbulances. By providing the very best of care and not cutting corners on safety, it is an expensive operation and last year it cost almost £3000 more PER GROUP to take a group to Lourdes than was received from pilgrims. Between us we hope to raise at least £3000.
With 32 groups travelling to Lourdes this year, it is obvious a lot of fundraising is needed to keep heads above water. Hence our need for your support! Please encourage us by your generosity!
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Across Jumbulances will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, it will receive an extra 28% in tax which will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support.
