MPS Society-Great Orme Walk 2007 · 7 October 2007

The MPS Society provides specialist support to children, adults and families in the UK who are affected by MPS, Fabry and related lysosomal storage diseases and we fund research into treatment and therapies. These diseases are rare, genetic, life-limiting conditions with no cure.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

We are doing a sponsored walk up the Great Orme on Sunday 25th November 2007.

This walk is to show my appreciation for the help given to my granddaughter Holly who was born April 2004 and was diagnosed with Hurlers Syndrome or MPS1 later that year. Thanks to the generosity of an unknown donor, Holly had a bone marrow transplant on 23rd February 2005 and this month (October 07) started Main Stream Nursery School with other children of her age. We need to raise more money for this very special cause so other children can continue to benefit in the way that Holly has.

Many thanks

Sue
